The association has a variety of tasks related to camps, and everyone can find a way to help that suits them best. Musical skills are not required, help is needed with cooking, producing and organizing.

Kitchen ‘manager’

The kitchen manager is responsible for the daily breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Keeping with the spirit of the association, the menu is healthy and vegan.

Photographer

The photographer will document the camp, take the official band photos and shoot the closing ceremony.

Roadie

Roadie helps with the assembly and dismantling of the camp before and after the week. They are also responsible for or involved in the pick-up of instruments and amplifiers. After the first day of the camp, helpers are also needed to prepare the practice facilities.

Instrument instructor

On the first day of the camp, an instrument instructor will teach the groups the basics of the instrument. Later in the week, the instructor may give private lessons or other additional advice to players who have chosen the instrument in question.

Band coach

There will be one band coach per camp band. The coach will act as a mentor and support the band throughout the week. The band coach is responsible for helping the campers from the preparation of their song to the final concert.

Workshop facilitator

In addition to developing musical skills, the camps may also include non-musical workshops. Workshops last an hour or two and have covered topics such as improvisation, stage presence and managing and using performance anxiety.

Camp leader

The camp leader works closely with the producer, but is more responsible for the practical things of the camp. They take care of the schedule, make sure the campers are in the right place at the right time and look after the mental well-being of the campers.

Camp producer

The camp producer is responsible for planning and organising the camp week, from instrument loans to managing staff and volunteers. The job is not limited to the week of the camp, but is also spread over the weeks before and after the camp. The producer plans the schedules, takes care of their implementation and is responsible for a successful week.
