BAND PRACTISE SPACE
We want to provide a safe space to make music for trans and cisgender girls and women and other trans and gender non-conforming people. Our practice space has everything you need to play, from picks to instruments, your new hobby doesn't require you to invest in expensive instruments first.
In 2019, Särö expanded its activities by acquiring its own premises in Roihupelto, Helsinki. This would not have been possible without a donation from the Tuska 20 fund. The premises has both band practice rooms and a public space for the association's activities. The dedicated facilities have enabled year-round activities and have also attracted a large number of new volunteers.
There is a small monthly training fee for those using the ‘treenis’ to cover the costs of the facility. However, the aim is to keep the fee as low as possible and it will be adjusted as the number of people using the practice facility varies.

SOITINLAHJOITUKSET
Särön treeniksellä on kaikki bändisoittimet, jotta uuden harrastuksen voi aloittaa ilman suuria sijoituksia välineisiin. Olemme saaneet treenikselle kaiken tarvittavan ihanien ihmisten ja mahtavien yhteisöjen lahjoittamina.
Tavara on kuitenkin osittain kuluvaa ja Särö ottaa vastaan esimerkiksi hyväkuntoisia sähkökitaroita, lyhytkaulaisia bassoja, hyväkuntoisia vahvistimia, pedaaleja, piuhoja tai muuta musisoinnissa hyödyllistä tarpeistoa.
